FAQ

Does inventory update automatically when an order is placed?
Yes. Every confirmed order deducts the ordered quantity from the relevant product's stock. POS sales also deduct from the same inventory pool, giving you one accurate real-time stock count across channels.
Can I track inventory for products with multiple variants?
Yes. You can define variants (size, color, weight, etc.) for each product, and each variant has its own stock count, low-stock threshold, and movement history.
How do low-stock alerts work?
You set a minimum stock threshold per product or variant. When stock falls at or below that threshold, Sociair sends an in-app alert and optionally an email or SMS notification to your designated team member.
Can I track stock from multiple locations or warehouses?
Multi-location inventory is available in Sociair One (the enterprise tier). For Sociair Commerce, inventory is tracked across a single location by default.
How do returns affect inventory?
When a return is processed and marked as 'stock returned,' the quantity is added back to inventory automatically. You can also record manual stock adjustments for discrepancies or damaged goods.
